We are pleased to welcome Ron McLoughlin back for more horsemanship training. All levels are welcome! Bring your own horse or ride one of ours.

McLoughlin has held over 900 horse handling clinics around the world teaching thousands of students an advanced, systematic way to become accomplished, riders. Ron’s school is founded on the work of Monte Foreman, the Father of Natural Horsemanship, who’s humane and compassionate philosophy revolutionized modern horsemanship. Ron studied under and worked extensively with Monte and continues his legacy.

Topics covered at clinics include:

  • Humane & effective ’classical stock seat’ methods
  • Improve your horse’s responsiveness & agility
  • Effective communication between horse & rider
  • Correct rider position y Lateral movements & control
  • Importance of correct diagonals
  • How to put Foreman-style ‘balance’ into your stops
  • Lightness—where & how?
  • Methods for correct leads
  • Your horse’s footwork & way of going

The training will be held at Heavenly Way, located near Hanging Rock State Park, just 40 minutes from Winston-Salem or Greensboro, our facility features beautiful trails for riding on the 300-acre property of woods, meadows, ponds and streams. We also a have a small round pen, a medium round pen and an Olympic sized arena for training.

Workshop Cost: $225 / person / day (9am -11:30am & 2pm-4:30pm)
Audit $25 / person / day
(Food and accommodation is available on the property.)
