We are pleased to welcome Ron McLoughlin back for more horsemanship training. All levels are welcome! Bring your own horse or ride one of ours.
McLoughlin has held over 900 horse handling clinics around the world teaching thousands of students an advanced, systematic way to become accomplished, riders. Ron’s school is founded on the work of Monte Foreman, the Father of Natural Horsemanship, who’s humane and compassionate philosophy revolutionized modern horsemanship. Ron studied under and worked extensively with Monte and continues his legacy.
Topics covered at clinics include:
- Humane & effective ’classical stock seat’ methods
- Improve your horse’s responsiveness & agility
- Effective communication between horse & rider
- Correct rider position y Lateral movements & control
- Importance of correct diagonals
- How to put Foreman-style ‘balance’ into your stops

The training will be held at Heavenly Way, located near Hanging Rock State Park, just 40 minutes from Winston-Salem or Greensboro, our facility features beautiful trails for riding on the 300-acre property of woods, meadows, ponds and streams. We also a have a small round pen, a medium round pen and an Olympic sized arena for training.
Workshop Cost: $225 / person / day (9am -11:30am & 2pm-4:30pm)
Audit $25 / person / day

Master San Gee Tam has over 40 years of practice and teaching of Tai Chi, self-cultivation, meditation, healing and related arts. He is a living example of radiant health and happiness. He guides people to their natural, spiritual truth in a plain and loving way. He has integrated the profound insights and wisdom of his rich life experiences and inquiries into Golden Flower Tai Chi, an accessible and practical system adapted for people of the West.
Chief Instructor Annukka Holland has studied Tai Chi and self-cultivation for over 20 years. She embodies the graceful and effortless power of Tai Chi and humbly continues to pursue self-improvement in her own life. She is an inspiration to us all.
For Your Comfort
Our lodge provides spacious and comfortable accommodations with some privacy and individual space. Other accommodations are available for any-one needing more privacy. We serve healthy, delicious meals with fresh vegetables and fruit – often using organic produce from our garden and homegrown eggs. Dairy, fish and meat are added for additional protein.
You may choose a specific practice to study – we will provide you with ex-pert instruction in those areas. Working in small groups we offer instruction in the following practices:
